When you call to inquire about The Penn Group's ghost writer service, you will be asked to describe the project you are proposing. We do not work with every individual who calls; however, we do consider your goals for the book or script and give you our fair opinion of the idea's potential. If we like your idea, we will consult several of our writers whom we deem a good fit for the project. We will then send you each writer's bio, including links to relevant samples. After you have reviewed the ghostwriters' samples, you may contact us to discuss going ahead with the project. We will then arrange telephone interviews with the writers in whom you are interested. Before speaking to any writers, we ask that you give a $500 deposit (creditable to your balance later on) to demonstrate your seriousness and justify the writers' time commitment to your proposed project. Once you have chosen a writer, we will provide you with our standard contract in addition to any requested materials, including nondisclosure agreements. At that point the down payment will be due.
