Pricing for copywriting projects varies depending on the amount of research required for the project, the project's length, the time frame allotted, and the desired copywriter's level of accomplishment. However, most projects can be grouped in one of the following categories:

Advertising Copy (Print Only) - Copy is priced at $200 per 500 words. The fee for a full page ad is $600.

Website Copy - One 250 word, search engine optimized article costs $150. Purchasing a package of 10 or more articles brings the price down to $125 / article. Purchasing a package of 25 or more articles reduces the price to $100 / article.

Technical Writing - Technical copy is priced at $300 per 500 words. Manuals, brochures, and all other corporate materials receive a lower rate if 10 or more pages are required.

Articles - Trade journal articles, magazine articles, and other copy that requires specific research is priced at $500 per 500 words.
